While we often talk about AI and its applications, it is important to understand that not all tools that provide direct answers are powered by AI. Some of them simply rely on their existing data and do not actually “think” about the question being asked.

Building on the success of the first two editions, the upgraded 3.0 format will introduce and explore design workflows that combine computational design and artificial intelligence, connecting a range of software and applications that include Rhino Grasshopper, SideFX Houdini, MakeHuman, Midjourney AI, and RunwayML.
NEOM reveals its new sanctuary resort called Zardun
NEOM has recently unveiled a new destination named Zardun. It is an exclusive sanctuary resort located in the Gulf of Aqaba, which is an ecotourism destination. Zardun offers a variety of sports and leisure pursuits, such as trekking, mountain biking, rock climbing, stargazing, meditation, and yoga. The place comprises three distinct boutique hotels, offering a total of 100 rooms and suites to its guests.
Minsuk Cho selected to design the Serpentine Pavilion 2024
Serpentine Galleries announced that Korean architect Minsuk Cho and his Seoul-based studio, Mass Studies, have been selected to design the 23rd Edition of Serpentine Pavilion. The details about the pavilion will be unveiled on 5 June 2024.

King Fahd Sports City is a multi-purpose stadium situated in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was designed by Ian Fraser, John Roberts, Michael K.C. Cheah, and Partners. The stadium originally had a seating capacity of 58,398 spectators and was characterized by a massive, tent-like roof structure.

From concept to creation: Key points of Tim Fu’s Parametric Intelligence workshop
We had a great workshop with Tim Fu in the first half of January. This time, during the Parametric Intelligence workshop, we learned to fully develop our own design from 2D to 3D, using holistic AI workflow, going from AI concept design with Midjourney, parametric design with Rhino/Grasshopper, and LookX for detail development and rendering.
