This Weekend: Spatial Dynamics: AI & Human Movement Design ⚡
This workshop will focus on understanding multiple thinking processes and developing iterative algorithms to evaluate circulation within a given space.
Hellos,
We will be holding a workshop this weekend called "Spatial Dynamics: AI & Human Movement Design". The workshop will focus on understanding various thought processes and developing iterative algorithms to evaluate the circulation of people within a given space. The class mainly deals with the dynamics of numbers, probability, and data concerning the flow of people, measurement of space, and its integration.
Also, we are excited to inform you that we're offering a fantastic discount of 40% on specific courses that are available on our website. This Weekend: Spatial Dynamics: AI & Human Movement Design – Studio Settawut Leenavong
⏩ Free for Digital Members
This workshop will focus on understanding multiple thinking processes and developing iterative algorithms to evaluate circulation within a given space. The class predominantly deals with the dynamics of numbers, probability, and data concerning the flow of people, space measurement, and its integration. The software depends on Rhinoceros and Grasshopper 3D visual programming, making it suitable for design practitioners without experience in coding languages. The workshop is scheduled for February 3–4, 2024.
Data Structure(d) Design 2.0 – Studio Federico Borello
The workshop aims to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills designing efficient geometries while leveraging data and visualization techniques to gain insights into the performance of their designs. Participants will learn the fundamentals of parametric design, structural analysis, and optimization techniques, enabling them to create structure-aware and visually appealing architectural and engineering designs. The workshop is scheduled to March 9–10, 2024.
Polyhedral Topologies in Blender – Studio Alessandro Zomparelli
The structural properties of polyhedral lattices make them a remarkable strategy for both experimental architecture and product design. They allow us to describe a volumetric object through a topological description of internal polyhedra. The polyhedral complex can be produced as a regular grid object, but it can also be deformed and manipulated using Blender’s Geometry Nodes, which allows for some form-finding strategies that increase its effectiveness in specific loading conditions. The workshop is scheduled for February 10–11, 2024.
Combinational Creativity using Generative AI – Studio Arturo Tedeschi
The aim of this program is to explore and develop innovative concepts for architecture concepts, products, art installations, and creative artifacts. The ultimate goal is to equip participants with a new framework for creative strategies, informed decision-making, and innovative techniques—essential skills for turning concepts into tangible projects in the era of AI. The workshop is scheduled for February 24–25, 2024.
Sustainability-Focused Parametric Design – Studio Jacob Lehrer
⏩ Free for Digital Members
This workshop called “Sustainability-Focused Parametric Design” aims to develop quick sketch designs that use methods that can be infinitely scalable via list structure, then apply our approach to a sizable theoretical building with surrounding context to create a system that can adapt to environmental and other contextual factors like program and panel height. The workshop is scheduled for March 2–3, 2024.
Computational Design: NEXT 16
📢 Early-bird Registration!
Computational Design: NEXT is a joint effort by some of the world’s leading experts in computational design to create an online learning platform that will also serve as a full-fledged online conference. Following the success of CD Next 1–15, Computational Design: NEXT 16 takes another step forward in exploring new-age design technologies by worldwide technology champions. The conference will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 20–21, 2024, and will include workshops, panel discussions, technology demos, and presentations.
