You’ll learn how to simulate robotic movements interacting with physical objects, enabling the exploration of computational dynamic forms. The technological decade between 2010 and 2020 was mainly characterized by the global explosion of the Big Data phenomenon; the implications that this has on society are still ongoing and are the subject of numerous studies. The amount of data generated in that period has proven infinitely more significant than that created in the previous millennia. The workshop will take place on September 19 – 20, 2024.

PixelSpace: Intro to 3D Generative AI – Studio Daniel Escobar

This workshop will explore the cutting-edge techniques of multiview diffusion models conditioned on camera paths for 3D scene generation. We will dive into the latest methods for representing 3D scenes and geometry and investigate how current research in 3D generative AI leverages pre-trained image and video models for a 3D generation. It will take place on August 31– September 1, 2024.

Computational Dreamscape 2.0 – Studio Eliana Nigro

Computational Dreamscape 2.0 workshop will help you develop algorithmic thinking, understand geometry, and create versatile Grasshopper definitions, making your projects unique and adaptable. During the workshop, we’ll work on sculptural installations with dynamic effects and colorful, flowing artistic landscapes that can be experienced in various ways, blending reality and fantasy. It will take place on September 14 – 15, 2024.

AI-Driven Fashion Design – Studio Ida Rasouli

This workshop is designed for individuals with different backgrounds in design, whether they are fashion designers or experts in other design fields, interested in exploring fashion design with generative tools to bring their vision to life. It will take place on September 7–8, 2024.

Creative Perspectives – Studio Harshdeep Arora

This workshop will teach the tips and tricks of precise image creation using prompting techniques for mood board creation, concept exploration, theme development, and social media. We will focus on using Midjourney to master its use and achieve concepts that align with the designer’s vision and reflect the theme of their project. The workshop is scheduled for September 21 – 22, 2024.

Berke deBensason will be a speaker at CD NEXT 17

Berke Debensason graduated from Istanbul Technical University in 2008 with a degree in architecture. He has 15 years of professional experience and founded DE.X studio, completing various projects. In 2019, he founded Teledomica in London to conduct research at the intersection of architecture, design, and mixed reality, aiming to develop innovative solutions for the AEC industries. He is scheduled to deliver a captivating presentation at CD: NEXT 17 on August 24th and 25th, 2024.
