Observation decks, skyline experience are reshaping how architecture engages with height, turning vertical structures into immersive spatial journeys that frame cities as lived experiences rather than distant views. This evolution shifts the focus from simple outlooks to emotional connection and sensory connection with the urban horizon.

Cooling cities, urban heat highlight the growing urgency of climate-responsive design, where architecture is no longer static shelter but active environmental infrastructure. James Turrell Skyspace, engineered ecosystems reflect two parallel explorations of perception and environment—one that manipulates light and space to alter human experience, and another that reimagines climate itself as a designed system.
