Serpentine Pavilion 2026
The Serpentine Galleries have announced Lanza Atelier as the architect for the Serpentine Pavilion 2026
Dear PA reader,
Today’s newsletter brings together a curated selection of pavilion and cultural projects that reflect the growing role of experimental architecture in shaping public space. Highlights include the biomimetic Carbon Garden Pavilion, and Adjaye Associates’ Barbados Arts Centre, where lightweight structures and climate-responsive design are used to test new spatial and civic ideas.
Also featured are MVRDV’s Wooden Wonders Pavilion and the Pujiang Platform, alongside the Glass Pavilion in Bangkok, Yokomae et Bouayad’s work at Louvre Abu Dhabi, and the Dream Glow Pavilion by Daxing Jizi Design, a group of projects that underscores how timber, light, and atmosphere are increasingly central to contemporary pavilion design.
