PA Talks 59 with Hassan Ragab is out!
In PA Talks Episode 59, we hosted Hassan Ragab, an architect, interdisciplinary designer, and conceptual artist.
Happy Sundays,
In PA Talks Episode 59, we hosted Hassan Ragab, an architect, interdisciplinary designer, and conceptual artist. 🦾
We had a great discussion about Hassan’s professional background, artificial intelligence, and the future of architecture.
In addition to his practice, Hassan is passionate about blending identity, beauty, and technology. He believes that all art forms are interconnected, and design narratives should move beyond the modernist ideology of “Form Follows Function,” a concept that has dominated the design world over the past decade.
Hassan is one of the tutors at PAACADEMY. As an educator, he imparts his knowledge to other designers in the fields of architecture, artificial intelligence, and art history.
PA Talks 59 – Hassan Ragab
In PA Talks Episode 59, we had a chance to host Hassan Ragab, an architect, interdisciplinary designer, and conceptual artist with 15 years of experience spanning various domains, including architecture, exhibition design, museography, furniture design, computational design, construction, and generative art.
Combinational Creativity using Generative AI – Studio Arturo Tedeschi
The aim of this program is to explore and develop innovative concepts for architecture concepts, products, art installations, and creative artifacts. The ultimate goal is to equip participants with a new framework for creative strategies, informed decision-making, and innovative techniques, essential skills for turning concepts into tangible projects in the era of AI. The structure of the course is based on two main theoretical foundations:
Polyhedral Topologies in Blender – Studio Alessandro Zomparelli
Creativity has always been at the core of architecture. Whether introducing elegant curves to a building or detailing its infrastructure, every aspect of architectural design equates to an artist shaping a sculpture. In such a craft, introducing Artificial Intelligence might seem like an unexpected addition to a creative activity.
Spatial Dynamics: AI & Human Movement Design – Studio Settawut Leenavong
This workshop will focus on understanding multiple thinking processes and developing iterative algorithms to evaluate circulation within a given space. The class predominantly deals with the dynamics of numbers, probability, and data concerning the flow of people, space measurement, and its integration.
Body Architecture 3.0 – Studio Filippo Nassetti
Building on the success of the first two editions, the upgraded 3.0 format will introduce and explore design workflows that combine computational design and artificial intelligence, connecting a range of software and applications that include Rhino Grasshopper, SideFX Houdini, MakeHuman, Midjourney AI, and RunwayML.
