Cairo’s new heart center by Foster + Partners expected to open 2025
Construction is already in progress on the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Center Cairo, a medical facility located near the Pyramids of Giza and adjacent to the Zewail City of Science and Technology. Designed by Foster + Partners, which specializes in sustainable and innovative solutions, this 300-bed hospital aims to offer free treatment and bring its patients closer to nature to foster healing.
Archmist to transform Seoul’s Jamsu Bridge into art gallery
Seoul Metropolitan Government has announced Archmist as the winner of redesigning the iconic Jamsu Bridge, an initiative under the ‘Great Hangang Projec’. This bridge was built in 1976, just lying above the waterline, will be reimagined to transform into a pedestrian-friendly bridge housing the world’s longest gallery, making it a sustainable and cultural landmark along the Han River.

International architecture studio HOK has unveiled the design of the New York City Football Club’s new open-air stadium in Queens. Standing next to the New York Mets’ Citi Field, the new 25,000-capacity soccer-specific stadium is destined to become the first fully electric stadium.
Dong’an Lake Sports Park Bridge spirals down, enclosing the playground
Atelier-Sizhou created the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Bridge, which is situated in Longquanyi’s Dong’an New Town and was built for the Chengdu FISU World University Games. The stadium can accommodate 40,000 spectators and features an aquatic center, a multipurpose gym, and a multiball game gym.
