Advanced Grasshopper 2.0

Current design and architecture practice is highly adopted to use parametric modeling tools and procedural workflows. Such methods help designers to explore a wide range of outcomes for a defined design question. Conventionally, 3D software were limited to certain geometrical modifiers that could be used, but algorithmic modeling tools such as Grasshopper offer the possibility to develop custom modifiers in your design workflow. This upcoming workshop by Amir Hossein will comprehensively explore the Grasshopper environment and how this tool can be used for advanced 3d modeling procedures.

About:  

Amir Hossein is a Ph.D. student in Architecture at Pennsylvania State University, specializing in Design Computing. His research focuses on computational design methods and digital fabrication, particularly in the area of additive manufacturing of concrete structures.
