We wanted to share some news with you. Sadly, Gaetano Pesce, the Italian architect and industrial designer who pioneered the Radical Design movement and was known for his unconventional approaches, passed away at the age of 84.
The Diriyah Gate Company Limited has commissioned HKS to design a technologically advanced, globally significant arena that is a timeless representation of Diriyah, the birthplace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its geology, and its culture.
Diamond Schmitt Architects, in collaboration with Associate Architect EXP, has designed a new modern home for the New Brunswick Museum (NBM), which is Canada’s oldest continuously operating museum.
Lastly, we recently announced a new workshop, called Parametric Architecture with Blender, for those interested in learning more about Blender and its possibilities. The workflows of the workshops are crafted to give you as much iterative design freedom as possible. You will learn methodologies for modeling in an extremely efficient and smart fashion that lets you make adjustments to your models and see the results.

Diamond Schmitt announced the design of the New Brunswick Museum
The new museum is approximately 12,450 square meters. With the addition of five additional wings to the north, Diamond Schmitt’s design greatly increases the museum’s footprint while integrating the historic Collections and Research Center on Douglas Avenue in Saint John, which was constructed in 1934 next to Riverview Memorial Park.
HKS Architects designed a 20,000-seat Arena for Diriyah

Light of Life created from interconnected polyhedrons that form the eggshells
“Light of Life” is shaped like an egg that glows with light. This structure was a component of an academic project completed by University of Navarra School of Architecture Geometry students. Their main contribution to the FORUN summit, whose central topic was “the future,” was this display.

Designed by YuQiang & Partners, the Shenzhen Galaxy Twin Towers are located along the city’s central axis and offer an impressive view of the city skyline from the Bay Area. It is a major component of the 1.6 million-square-meter Galaxy WORLD redevelopment.
