Banksy’s ‘Walled Off Hotel’ Reopens
Reopening in Bethlehem, Banksy’s Walled Off Hotel returns as a cultural and artistic platform amplifying Palestinian narratives beyond hospitality
Dear PA reader,
Banksy’s Walled Off Hotel has reopened in Bethlehem as a living artwork confronting history and geopolitics from the very edge of the separation wall. A hotel in Guilin has gone viral after a social media video revealed its floor-to-ceiling views of misty limestone peaks, with many mistaking the very real scenery for AI or the floating landscapes of Avatar.
Blue Voyage, designed by Studio RAP, introduces one of the world’s largest 3D-printed ceramic installations at Dubai’s Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, where nearly 900 digitally fabricated tiles form two sculptural walls that redefine the hotel’s entrance through material innovation and parametric design.
Rounding out the update, the Yas Viceroy Hotel remains a benchmark for experiential architecture, while El Cosmico signals a shift toward 3D-printed construction as a viable model for future hospitality.
