Architecture Exhibitions 2026
A global overview of architecture exhibitions setting the agenda for 2026
Dear PA reader,
A global guide to must-see architecture and design exhibitions highlights shows that tackle everything from climate and infrastructure to material poetics across cities worldwide. The upcoming 64th edition of Salone del Mobile 2026, with over 1,900 exhibitors and a new “Salone Contract” framework designed by OMA, expands the Milan fair into a broader cultural and strategic platform for design and architecture. The 61st Venice Art Biennale, running from May to November, will again place architecture within the wider artistic and political conversation, and as World Capital of Architecture, Barcelona hosts the UIA World Congress and a year-long programme of exhibitions and public events that activate museums, streets, and public space throughout the city.
The Milano–Cortina Winter Olympics 2026 has renewed focus on long-term venue planning and post-event use, while London’s Serpentine Pavilion 2026 by Lanza Atelier continues the tradition of small-scale, experimental architecture.
