For example, Nike has recently unveiled its new footwear collection for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games, scheduled for July 26 and August 11, 2024. What makes this collection stand out is that it has been designed using artificial intelligence.

AI helps create clothing tailor-made for individual customers. AI can suggest designs that perfectly match the wearer's unique personality and physique by analyzing body measurements and style preferences. This fosters a deeper connection between the customer and the garment.

AI analyzes vast amounts of data—runway shows, social media content, sales figures—to accurately predict future fashion trends. Designers can use this foresight to stay ahead of the curve, delivering exciting and in-demand collections.

Also, AI-powered pattern optimization algorithms can analyze the best way to arrange pattern pieces on fabric. This maximizes fabric usage and minimizes waste during the cutting process. There has been an increase in the use of various technologically advanced and biologically inspired materials derived from fashion waste. This trend aligns with many concerns and goals related to sustainability. FabBRICK is an excellent example of how fabric waste and technology intersect.
